Gabriel Jesu’s disappointment with Manchester City’s starting XI in just three games this season has seen team coach Pep Guardiola.
Sergio Aguero, who is in great form, has already scored eight goals in the English Premier League this year. The Argentine forward has been irregular in the starting XI in such an arrangement.
In a recent interview with a Brazilian media, Jesus expressed frustration over not being able to play regularly. However, the 22-year-old footballer said he was happy in the city. He also said he had no intention of leaving the club.
Guardiola praised his professionalism after interviewing Jesus.
“Of course he wants to play. He is the number nine national team of Brazil. He is probably the only striker of his quality in the world. His quality player must have such a mentality. ”
“Every time he gets on the field – a second, two minutes or 5 minutes – he plays like a weaver.”
“I fully understand … Not just Gabriel, no player will be happy if they don’t play regularly. That’s true. It’s an easy answer. If he plays, he will be happy, or he will not play. ”
